Review
Precise, visible verification that is never absolute
A project badge is not a promise of returns or success. It summarises tangible checks completed before publication.
The six checks shown on every project page
Project owner identity
Consistency between the declared identity, submitted documents, and the people interviewed.
Registration
Existence and key information about the organisation when the project is carried by a registered entity.
Bank details
Account holder and consistency of the account intended to receive project payouts.
Field visit
On-site observation when it has actually taken place. Its absence remains explicitly visible.
References
Contacts or previous work checked by the review team.
Video interview
Direct discussion with the owner about the project, budget, timeline, and principal risks.
What verification does not promise
A project can face delays, cost changes, or fail. DiaspAfrika describes its checks and organises follow-up, but does not turn a contribution into a guaranteed investment.
